We sing a song at Clearwater that says “break my heart for what breaks yours” - Brooke Fraser. My soul resonates that expression. But, I also say “Let our hearts rejoice over what makes glad the heart of our God.” Our aim in life should be to align the beat of our hearts with the beat of the heart of God. There is more rejoicing within the heart of God over one lost person repenting than over 99 heaven-bound saints!
So we go. We drop our nets. To bring the Word of God...the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the community...to the world. What is our motivation? Obedience. What is our fuel? The love of Christ for people. What is our message? Come and see how much Jesus loves you. And we become fishers of men.
