Have you seen gas prices lately? How about taking a glance at the housing market...or the stock market. It's enough to create quite a bit of anxiety. It's a great time to take a deep breath and remember that this is not our home. The believer is no more made for this world than an infant is made for the womb. These present circumstances will soon will pass away...the curtain will fall and our hope will become our reality:
There are 6 main events in every person’s life. They are:
1. Life – The time you spend on earth as boy soul and spirit.
2. Death – The moment that your soul and spirit are separated from your body. Are you surprised to find that the second major
event in your life is your death?!?
3. Destination – As soon as you die your soul and spirit reach your destination. The Bible only speaks of two places that the soul
goes. One is Heaven (for believers) the other is Hell (for unbelievers). Both last forever.
4. Resurrection – Our new bodies will be immortal. They can never experience death again
5. Repayment – The Bema and the Great White Throne are the two places where each person will be judged. The believer will go to
the Bema. The unbeliever will go to the Great White Throne
6. Eternity – You will live forever in the presence or absence of God.
