If you've ever given a child a "piggy-back" ride...or thrown them up into the sky so they can fall back into the safety of your awaiting arms...if you've ever held their little arms as you spun them around like a top, then you know how much they enjoy it. I don't care how long the ride may last, when it comes to an end, the response is always the same..."Do it again!" They can never get enough, and their infectious laughter resonates not only in your ears, but in your heart. Ever notice how God can be child-like when it comes to doing things over and over? I Am so thankful for His Creation...but I'm also grateful for His "duplication". Have you ever sat on a beach and watched wave after wave wash ashore with its own infectious laughter, or noticed how the azaleas bloom year after year, or caught a glimpse of a shooting star knowing that sort of cosmic event is happening all over a universe that only He can fully enjoy, but He let you look up at just the right time just so He could "do it again" and share it with you? He loves demonstrating His glory over and over through His creation, and we get to be a tiny part of it all, as we stand back and watch Him flash lightning and boom thunder...or send another perfectly timed gentle breeze our way...sometimes right in the middle of a hot summer day. The smell of springtime is always so pleasantly familiar...the taste of a peach...the sound of a cricket singing its nightsong. All are reminders that God loves repeating Himself...and sometimes it's the small voice of a delighted child falling into our arms once more and saying "That was fun...do it again!"
