Ever wonder what kind of fighter Goliath was? I mean, did he have any game at all? Truth is we'll never know...he didn't last long enough. We know he was big...he talked alot of smack...caused alot of anxiety for a whole lot of people...and then he was gone...doesn't even make it to the end of the chapter. "Killed by a shepherd boy". How'd that look on the "headless giant's" headstone? One small warrior who trusted in a really big God to do the seemingly impossible task of defeating a mole hill that was packaged to look like a mountain. He never stood a chance, you know...Goliath, I mean. That rock could have been tossed underhanded and still would have accomplished its purpose. God will do His thing whether it's in a valley called Elah or a hill called Calvary. The enemy will always lose...always. So David wasn't fighting for victory...he was fighting FROM victory...as are you believer...as are you. Press on!
