I Chronicles 29:11 tells us so much about the character of God... great...powerful... glorious... victorious... majestic... splendid... Owner...King...exalted...Head over all. Soaking in this truth and reverently basking in His attributes can change one's perspective. It rolls back the curtain to unveil the invisible reality that He is and we are not. It enlightens the path on this journey of generosity for me. I once again find that this is less about teaching God's truth and more about learning it. This is not "sermon material". It is "heart" stuff. I'm blown away by what the "Giver of all good things" is showing me in the secret places of my soul.
And now, once again, as the leadership of Clearwater has embraced the bigness of God and displayed His value above all else, we are linking arms together to commit $1,254,500.00 to willingly do what we could never do on our own. May 4th is our Celebration Sunday and the people of Clearwater will join this initial commitment ...financially ...wholeheartedly ...willingly...and we will begin this journey together...to advance the kingdom of God here on earth...in this community...around the world...'til He comes or calls us home. ..."So they all praised the Lord, the God of their fathers; they bowed low and fell prostrate before the Lord...and the King." (v 20). Amen...amen.
