Wild!

The Friday and Saturday before Wild Week have been a crazy blur. In fact this has been a pretty "wild week" altogether, but as it comes to an end and I take a moment to reflect...wow! I already know this is going to be a pivotal time for us as a church as we get ready to ride a wave that is rising out of the river of God and those who had the opportunity to participate in His plans by readying our facilities have, I pray, received the same touch of His Spirit as I have. Interestingly, He's using our people to touch me. To walk around our building and see at every turn people painting ...hanging ...designing...building...cleaning...serving has been the highlight of my week. It takes so many to make what is about to happen take place. Of course God needs no one, but He chooses to let us participate in His story and this is one chapter (or maybe just paragraph) that I am so excited to be a part of. It'll probably be a quiet week as far as posting blogs go, so let me take this moment to say that I thank God for each person who has hammered and hung...poured and painted...danced and sung...smiled and taught...and allowed God to use them to shine His glory in a little metal building filled with people who love His Name! Have a good (or should I say WILD) week. Pray for those who will be participating and if you're one of those people being prayed for...I'll see you Monday morning.
