Facedown

A few gathered together today in the Clearwater prayer room at 5:30AM to begin their Thursday by crying out to the God they love....worshipping His name, seeking His face...His renown...asking Him for Him so they can receive their portion of understanding...of connection to His plan...His story. I love hearing of these moments because I know what happens in my own occasions of quiet solitude like this "before dawn" encounter with the Living God. Hearts melt rather than bake. Confession and repentance begins to transform the lives of the confessor and of those around them. Clarity comes to a vision that has been cast. Eyes and ears are attentive to what the Spirit is speaking to those who would open His Word and seek understanding. A fresh Spirit moves within and among the hearts of His people. Will you join me in watching what happens because 5 people from our family got up this morning and drove to the church to kneel before their God and call upon Him to advance His kingdom, for His glory? I happen to know that for one prayer warrior it was quite a drive and I'd love to know what was in the CD player on that ramble. Right there tucked away in His Word is a holy promise whispered to those who would find themselves facedown at any time of the day...or night..."If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways...then will I hear from heaven..." (II Chronicles 7:14). Have a wonderful Thursday.
